D-02  A radiant young beauty in a circa 1845
sixth plate image.  The scan does not do this
image justice.  Still sealed in ancient paper
seals, the nearly pristine plate is safely behind
its old glass.  I have only wiped the filth from
the face of the glass to reveal the treasure
beneath.  The pebbled octagonal mat looks to
be paper and there is no preserver as would
be fitting for this image.  Presented in half of
an early bevelled edge paper and leather case,
this one is guaranteed to please the
discriminating collector.
